Update 0.4.7 - New text removal algos & launch stabilization!
Note 1: Remember that you have to download each update manually. GameTranslate does not currently have any auto-update support!
I am uploading this week's update one day ahead of schedule since I have social arrangements today and tomorrow. And a heads up - it will likely be the same next week!
This week is a bit more exciting than the last two, but I'm feeling eager to get a lot more done. I believe and hope that updates 0.4.9 & 0.5.0 will bring a lot more to the table as I will have far more time to work on the app for those weeks.
So, what can I show off this week?
One vastly improved text removal algorithm, and... another one! That's right, there are two of them now.
The old and improved one is way less destructive and much faster than it was.
The new one is about 5 times slower than the old and improved algorithm, but it will generally be less destructive & also more seamlessly adapt to the background.

All of the examples above are using the old and improved algorithm, NOT the new one. The new one is more for edge cases where it may be needed!
Other than that, I believe there will be little to no crashes related to launching games now. Please do always click 'Send crash report' when you do experience a crash, it helps a bunch!

- Added a new text removal algorithm (you can change to it under General Options, it's the 2nd one)
- Improved the speed & accuracy of the text removal algorithm that's been in use
- Games from the Epic Games store should no longer have any specific Epic Games launch issues
- Further improved the process of launching games, removing all of the most frequent launch crashes (let me know if you still have problems..!)
- Games that are launched with Administrator privileges will now prompt GameTranslate to restart as Admin
- Added more launch messages
- Launch verification time is now faster
- Added an on/off hotkey for the GameTranslate tool so you can easily save resources/avoid using the other hotkeys when not actively using it
- GameTranslate main app, tutorial and desktop crash logging improved
- Fixed a crash caused by a missing Steam folder

Great update, this is a drastic improvement of the backgrounds of the text boxes in auto mode, and the text appears mostly where it should now. For context im using it to translate Japanese ps2 games on a pc emulator, so this is a really useful app and hopefully will see more updates. Thanks for your hard work and hopefully you will be rewarded for it
